I love a full gaming area, and that is just what we had going today in the store. Call of Cthulhu RPG event, Warmachine games, Magic the Gathering games, Monsterpocalypse tournament, Blood bowl, and Dark Heresy RPG. Full of gaming goodness!!

Sunday, March 7th, 2010We had our best turnout yet! Including a few new players, and for the future, there were a couple gamers who decided to get back into magic after seeing the nice turnout we had! Prizes included 6 people winning booster packs, everyone recieved a foil Worldwake card, and we raffled off a Worldwake poster and a Magic bag/backpack. I may have to start selling singles if more people ask!
In other happenings, there was a lot of Bloodbowl played for our league, we are in week 5 of 9. Warmachine hit the table. Monsterpocalypse was demoed! And a Dark Heresy RPG group played through the evening!

Warmachine Tournament

It was a long day of battle. The gaming area was full to overflow with 7 tables running. Winners were Chris Brown playing Protectorate of Menoth in first place. Kyle Dalton playing Khador in second place. And Brandon Murchison playing Khador. We had the last of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place steamroller trophies!!
Later in the evening, bloodbowl games sprung up for the league. I ended OT in a tie in my game, but caused a whopping 5 casualties!! Ouch.
Miniatures today
Thursday, February 18th, 2010I played a scenario of Check Your 6! with Steve. It has been an ongoing Guadalcanal scenario book. My Japanese forces didn’t do so well, but did manage to get a couple bombers to drop thier payload over the airfield. Time will tell.
We also had a few Warmachine players drop by to get some practice games in for this saturday!!
New news! A couple Warhammer 40k players are thinking of starting a group gaming night during the week…….details to follow when they nail down thier plans!!
Monsterpocalypse
Monday, February 15th, 2010We had a sunday tournament! Prize was a Ultra King Kondo! I was able to participate in this one. My first game I was able to kill off my opponents first monster with one throw attack into two firey buildings! And then finish off his second monster the same way! All with one life left on my monster. Alas, it was not to be, and I could not keep the victory train going. Look for another tournament in March!!
Birthday Party and Bloodbowl

During the day Jerry F. had his birthday celebration here! He and his buddies played a big Warhammer 40k game, and then watched a Doctor Who episode on the big screen! Good times! See the pic of his game above!
Later in the day, we played bloodbowl games for the league! I got my first game in and fell behind early, but then pummled my opponent for the OT win. Lots of casualties caused and 3 level ups for me! Woo Hoo! See the pics of my team!
